never ending pollycraft......and tutorial....

Good afternoon you crafty people.....
Today i have my entry for the pollycraft challenge this week there theme is fire and ice (red and white). I think iv'e got that covered......I couldn't decide which of there images to use so I used a few of them and made a never ending card.....( i have included a little tutorial at the bottom).
the images have been coloured with pro markers, the card is from kanban and the flowers brads and gems are from papermania.

This is not one of my ideas there are various never ending card tutorials around this is the way i do them, i have made the instuctions quite basic as my children wanted to be able to follow them.
Never ending card- tutorial
This will make a 6x6 inch card
1. you will need to cut 4 pieces
of card 3"x6".
I have numbered
mine to make it easier
for you to follow.

2. you will need to score a line 1.5" down from the top of the card and also 1.5" up from the bottom of the card.
The card also needs scoring straight down the middle which is also 1.5" in from the side.
3. firmly crease all of your score lines on all 4 pieces.

4. lay two of your pieces horizontal(see picture below)

5. place tape in the four corners as below. Remember to keep the tape away from the score lines.

6. remove the tape from the top and bottom corner on the left side and carfully line up you third piece of card.(see picture below). Try and keep all score lines level.

7. Repeat the process with piece number four, again trying to keep the score lines level.

8. your basic card is now assembled.
if you open the middle flaps outward it should look like this.

9. open the flaps right out so the card lays flat, you can then open the card from the middle, this time one will go up and the other will come down.

10. your card will then look like this.
Then again open the flaps from the middle and
your card is back to the begining.

11. all that is left to do now is decorate it. You may need to refer back to my finished sample at the top to get the right size piece of card in the right place, ads you do have extra score line which are nesessary to be able to crease your card.

I really hope this makes sense i havn't done a tutorial before so please leave me any feed back good or bad...lol.
Thankyou so much for stopping by i do love to read your comments.
Hugs for now xoxo
