Tilda and Friends ATC challenge

Hi guys quick post today here is my entry for the Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge this week they would like you to use more than one stamped image...
Seeing as my sister is getting married next week i thought i would use this image so i can then make it into a card for her..

Kept it quite simple and used my sketching pencils again stamped on to some ice gold card you can see the shimmer if you click the piccy and then just added some flowers and glossy accents to the wings..

Just Magnolia Challenge - Shape card

Hiya again.....
here is my card for the Just Magnolia Challenge, this week they would like you to make a shape card. Had a bit of trouble taking a photo as the sun was too bright ( yep you heard me it's very sunny here).

Havn't used this Tilda in a while and thought she fitted nicely on to the triangle shape card, used some papermania papers and some flowers from my stash ..

Pollycraft Challenge - Monochrome

Hi again here is my entry to the Pollycraft Challenge this time the challenge is monochrome....
Again i have used my sketch pencils this time i used black instead of the sepia... just added a few bits from my stash, rubbed the black inkpad over some plain white flowers just to tone them down a bit...

Colour Create Challenge - choclate , sorbet pink, lemon

Good afternoon everyone, sorry i've been awol for a while can't get near the pc when the kids are on holiday and my other halfs off too....

manage to get a couple of cards done this is for the Colour Create Challenge this week they would like you to use choclate, sorbet pink and lemon with the added option of shabby chic, hope i've covered the brief and the colouring counts as shabby(ish).

I must thank the fabulous Judy a few days ago she posted a fabulous card which she had coloured with sketch pencils you must go and see. I bought some sketch pencils about 15years ago for my other half a one went missing almost straight away so he didn't use them and I've had them in my stash ever since waiting for the right project to come along. So big thankyou to Judy
for the inspiration....



Ta da here is my card i still need a bit more practice with the pencils.....

COLOUR CREATE CHALLENGE

Good morning everyone......
Well today it's my friends birthday Deb aka Cardsbyfreckleface here is the card i made her..I've had to wait untill her birthday so i could post this fort he Colour Create challenge (sorry i took loads of pics) they want you to use sky blue tan and ecru.... hope you like....

after i had done the card i realised it didn't fit in the envelope (doh) how many times does that happen....anyway good excuse to make a box....

Right off to post it on there site now please let me know you have been and i'll pop by and say hi... A BIG HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Deb ....have they come yet ,have they, i wanna see show me i want piccies...lol

INCHY BY INCH- BIRDS

Hellooooo again told you I would be back....
here is the new challenge I mentioned earlier it's called Inchy By Inch the challenge is to make an inch square or round piece of art following a weekly theme.. this week is birds....
here is my effort no where near as arty as the other ones I've seen, i'll get the hang of it eventually...

I had troublre photographing this with the light and reflections everywhere then the sun going in, i did put my ruler in the pic but as it's metal i kept getting light bouncing off that too...then couldn't decide on the background it looks different on both colours, i prefer the black...

Also i did make an effort for last weeks challenge F.... i just forgot to post it (doh)... i chose farmyard friends.. here it is

tell me what you think i will keep having a go eventually i'll get it..

Magnolia Down Under - Flutterby Butterfly

Hi again ..it's me...gosh three posts today.....
here is my entry for the Magnolia Down Under Challenge the theme this week is Flutterby Butterfly, gone with some of my favourite colours for this weeks challenge.
I love the crystal hearts in corner but it looks like the ribbons moved might have to click on the pic for a closer look but not too close at the colouring please ..lol.

Tilda and Friends ATC Challenge- Backgrounds

Helloooooo again...Hereis my entry for the tilda and friends atc challenge this week they would like you to create your own background.....
this took forever to try and photograph couldn't get the colours to show up properly in the end settled on the black but also put the white on to show you...
to make the background i used acetate and Tim Holtz alcohol inks and a copper mixative..then turned it over and used black stazon for the butterfly and sirly bits...then added the gorgeous Tilda and charm and a couple of pearls... a girl has to have pearls..lol..


the copper shows up much better on the black...

WOOHOO - I got candy

Hi there.... woohoo i won candy ......a while ago on crafty creations they wanted you to make bookmarks and i won, this morning i received my candy from Deena ( a creative need) she sent me these fab papers and embelishments and also the bookmark which she made thankyou :-)

MY favourite layouts

Just Magnolia- Sketch challenge

Helllllooooo, wow just had a massive hailstorm outside can't see the edge of the road, mmmm and my washing is out!!!!! I'll deal with it later, things to post...lol.
Well it's that time again for another Just Magnolia Challenge this time they have a fab sketch for you to follow...... as my little boys birthday will be coming up in a few weeks thought i'd make a start.....

i had to use my glossy accents on the image as my utee has gone walkabout added a few micro beads (they went everywhere)not lol....the papers are k&Co fake brads and of course the images are magnolia..

Hope you like... must go sort the washing now i think it might want spinning again, thanks for stopping by..

Magnolia Down Under Challenge - Thinking Of You

two posts in one day... gosh.. done the house work too...
This card is for the Magnolia Down Under chalenge they would like you to make a thinking of you card.....this is mine.

Used some new papers i picked up yesterday they're from Papermania- Retro Flowers. Also used some diecut frames I think they are Kanban and some flowers and pearls from my stash, and of course the gorgeous Tilda.
