Sugar Nellie..... Pink and Grey

Yoo Hoo.... only me just popping in to share this card for the Sugar Nellie challenge over on Facebook, there theme for this week is pink& grey.... well that's if I haven't missed it already..... I must get my but in gear....ha haa.

 ... and I actually managed to angle the card to show the glitzy bits from the gelly roll pen....
 I just love the new collection, they are available from Funky kits...
I have again used promarkers to colour and one of the Tilda 12x12 stack for the design paper.

Dilly Bean Blues...........







Hi everyone, hope you all had a fab weekend....I came across this new digi site and challenge Dilly Beans while reading the fabulously talented Debra James blog......I just  had to head straight over  there and checkout the awesome digi's and work from the design team...

.....but certainly Saturated.... Hi crafty girlies, well some of my 'crafty ecclecticness' seems to be returning, but I still can't get away from roughing up those edges....lol......... it must be my 'thing'......
...but I think any style suits Krista's super gorgeous images..


..... I think I'm just gonna need them all... well it would be rude not to....ha haa...

The Sugar Bowl Challenge.......

Hi guys... woohoo the weekend already.....although it's seems ages since christmas, were about to start the third week of the year....!!!!!

 ....anyway one of my new crafty resolutions is to try and enter more challenges and do more things I want to do and try some new techniques..... ooh and try and nail the male card thing....ha ha. This is assuming I'm not doing homework and cleaning   looking after the kids and all the other general Mum stuff that has to be done... how on earth do we find time to craft...... ooops waffling over.

feeling a little Hedgie.......

Afternoon crafty peeps.....just popping in to share my little Hedgie....I have had to make a start on some of the male cards I have to do..... even after years amd years of crafting I still struggle with male cards....
This stamp came free off the Papercrafts Inspirations magazine this month...
this took me ages to do..... still not sure if it's the right colours for the country companions style..... but I've  looked at it for that long now I keep changing my mind......



Top Tip Tuesday - anything goes
Top Tip -  save your markers that are running out out to add subtle shading and highlights to  animals, fur, hair and backgrounds without over doing it.
Anything  Goes -  anything goes

Magnolia Kraft......

CAS......or too clean and simple, I am really not used to doing simple cards, I always think should I just add.......but this time I resisted,... and I used my Koh-i-nor pencils for a change, not sure it's exactly what I had in my head but I gave it a try.....


I've had this stamp for a while , she hasn't seen much ink so I thought I would give her a go on kraft card.....

Shabby chic.......

Yoo hoo.....I've been having another play around with different things.... I love the shape of these cards but I never know how to use them, it never quite seems to work  yet everyone else makes some stunning cards with them......

January blues


Hi everyone.....well it's just turned midnight here in the uk.... so I thought I would post this while the football is on...
I have no idea why I coloured this little cutie in blue, it just happened, I find this colour difficult to use along with yellow......but I am quite pleased with it..... and I did tell myself that I was going to try out some of the 'stuff' that I've had in my head for ages.... whether it wotks or not!

I have used my promarkers again, and some more of my old papers.
I also managed to fit this into a challenge at 
Addicted to Stamps with their January blues challenge.....

Hi there everyone.... wow how long as this week been, thought I'd better try and do some more cards and colouring before I forget how to....lol.
I have quite a few birthdays coming up, so I better get started before the kids start fetching home mountains of homework again!!

I bought this stamp from the  craft show at Doncaster race course last year and this is the first time I have manged to get it inked up ( tut tut)  in fact I got quite a  few Lili of the Valley stamps there.... well it would be rude not to now ..wouldn't it....ha ha

 again I have used my trusty promarkers and I'm trying to use up  some of the thousands of sheets of paper I have accumulated from over the years.....rolls eyes

first card for 2012

Hi everyone..... well the kids are all now back at school, I've got a few jobs done, so time to tidy up  and update my blog for the new year as it's been a little neglected and I  love my little bloggy..... which will shortly be coming up to it's third anniversary...    :0}

 

I just love this image from Krista at Saturated Canary and having three girlies this image is really usefull and she's so easy to colour....


I have dusted off my trusty promarkers..... which haven't seen the light of day for about six weeks (tut tut)....wow I've forgotten how to colour, I didn't have a clue what I was doing, definatley need to get some practice in!!
