Simply Steampunk Challenge

Hi there everyone, I'm just popping in to share my entry for the Simply Steampunk Challenge this is there very first challenge and they have an anything goes theme.....

 I made a tealight holder for something different to do and it was so much fun instead of just doing a card..

 

 The image is called Lavinia potrait and she is available from Simply Betty

 This was really easy to make you just need a kitchen roll tube, the papers of your choice and some nice vintage style flowers..

 The butterfly is a diecut and  I used promarkers toto match the colours of my papers and then went over the body of the butterfly with crackle glaze.

I printed the digi image quite small and then used an oval punch...coloured it with promarkers and added some more crackle glazt and edged the whole thing with my favourite platinum stickles.... then just add a jewellery fixing and add to some other charms and ribbon.

Hi everyone....wow I have done so much crafting but none I am allowed to share just yet...  :)

 We  were given this image to use for free so long as we entered into the challenge..

this is such a fab image to use and  everyones project looks so different..

Well I must get back and see if my crackle glaze has dried...

Thor....

Hi crafty peeps how are we all doing...Is all the snow making for more crafty time...?

Here's what I have been up to.... I thought it was time to try and get a stash of boy cards together as I struggle with them, but when I saw these images in Simply Betty's store  I knew they were just right..

 again I have used promarkers to colour and also to create the background

 

I would like to enter these challenges....

Passion for Promarkers -  fave colour combo .... (mine is to use poppy,  cardinal red and amaranth red with warm grey 5 for shading)

Steampunk .......

Hi there everyone, just popping in to post my latest card, it's one of Simply Betty's from her Steampunk Range.. I absolutley love these and they are much easier to use than you think...Also Simply Betty are setting up a new challenge blog called Simply Steampunk .... new challenges and inspiration  will be up and ruuning soon.... I can't wait.

Here I have used Lavinia Portrait...

 She has been coloured using Promarkers... I have kept the rest of the card clean and simple so the image would be more striking...

 

I also hand embossed around the edges .....

Hi everyone just popping in to say hi and Happy New Year...

Hopefully I can get my craft back on and make the most of all my stash, but I really do want to start colouring  more often, and to actually post the stuff I do get around to making.....
