my ' Ecclectic Mayhem'.....

Hi everyone...how are you?.....I have been having play around with some ideas I have had in my head for a while... I kinda like what I have made but it's not exactly what I had in mind.....I think I need some more supplies- but what?.... I wasn't sure how to create what was in my head... because I wasn't sure really what I was doing...does that makes sense or am I just waffling!

... anyway he's what I created from the 'Ecclectic Mayhem' in my head.....I think that might be my new blog name!

firstly I must say I don't do photo's of me.....I usually try to make sure that I have the camera....I printed this off on to some canvas and then used the colours of the paper to try and blend in the edges of the photo....hmm maybe I think my next purchase should be some texture paste!....although the design papers didn't really need anything else I added some extra ink in places and slightly diffused the colour behing the photo and then really just went for it with some of my favourite things to embellish with....

all the additions I used have all been altered some hoe ...either with ink, paint , glitter, crackle glaze just to mute them slightly.... although I love sparky glittery things I am not a bright and shiney blingy person!

well thank you if you are still reading...lol I do appreciate you visiting me... any tips or techniques you thing I should have used or wether it's just something I did wrong please let me know....it's been a few years since I did anything 'odd'....I'm enjoying the challenge

A couple of quick cards....

Hi guys..... it's been so long again since I posted on here I really am going to have to get my but in gear and try colouring again....Here are a couple of cards I made for my brothers birthday.....so they are really quick and easy ones.... not much fuss for the men folk!

this is the super cute Fergus Mcfluff from Cuddly Buddly.....

and James the bear from LOTV......

well I've just printed some stuff out.....now just need some time to colour......hmmmm wish me look!

Make it Crafty ... Guest Designer

Hi everyone.... Woohoo I have been asked by the fabulous Zoe and her fantastic Make it Colourful team to join them as a guest designer for the new challenge......and how could I refuse I just love all their work and the inspiration I get from them.

The new theme up and running is Spring Colours.

I have used one of the new super gorgeous Gumnut flower girls available here....

I layered the skirt up for a change, and I coloured using promarkers.

Sugar Nellie..... Pink and Grey

Yoo Hoo.... only me just popping in to share this card for the Sugar Nellie challenge over on Facebook, there theme for this week is pink& grey.... well that's if I haven't missed it already..... I must get my but in gear....ha haa.

... and I actually managed to angle the card to show the glitzy bits from the gelly roll pen....

I just love the new collection, they are available from Funky kits...

I have again used promarkers to colour and one of the Tilda 12x12 stack for the design paper.

Dilly Bean Blues...........

Hi everyone, hope you all had a fab weekend....I came across this new digi site and challenge Dilly Beans while reading the fabulously talented Debra James blog......I just had to head straight over there and checkout the awesome digi's and work from the design team...

Shabby, distressed, tattered or vintage......

.....but certainly Saturated.... Hi crafty girlies, well some of my 'crafty ecclecticness' seems to be returning, but I still can't get away from roughing up those edges....lol......... it must be my 'thing'......

...but I think any style suits Krista's super gorgeous images..

..... I think I'm just gonna need them all... well it would be rude not to....ha haa...

I coloured this image on one of my colouring playdates with Deb... aka Frecklesplace .

The Sugar Bowl Challenge.......

Hi guys... woohoo the weekend already.....although it's seems ages since christmas, were about to start the third week of the year....!!!!!

....anyway one of my new crafty resolutions is to try and enter more challenges and do more things I want to do and try some new techniques..... ooh and try and nail the male card thing....ha ha. This is assuming I'm not doing homework and cleaning looking after the kids and all the other general Mum stuff that has to be done... how on earth do we find time to craft...... ooops waffling over.

feeling a little Hedgie.......

Afternoon crafty peeps.....just popping in to share my little Hedgie....I have had to make a start on some of the male cards I have to do..... even after years amd years of crafting I still struggle with male cards....

This stamp came free off the Papercrafts Inspirations magazine this month...

this took me ages to do..... still not sure if it's the right colours for the country companions style..... but I've looked at it for that long now I keep changing my mind......

Top Tip - save your markers that are running out out to add subtle shading and highlights to animals, fur, hair and backgrounds without over doing it.

Magnolia Kraft......

CAS......or too clean and simple, I am really not used to doing simple cards, I always think should I just add.......but this time I resisted,... and I used my Koh-i-nor pencils for a change, not sure it's exactly what I had in my head but I gave it a try.....

I've had this stamp for a while , she hasn't seen much ink so I thought I would give her a go on kraft card.....
