Mic Portraits challenge

Hi crafty colouring peeps...
I have another colouring to share with you from the Mic Colourful Portraits challenge...

I have used Desiree
I have used Prisma pencils for colouring, I haven't added too many feature son to this image as I was focusing more on the skin tone and Hair...

I had a lot of fun with this and used a lots of colours I wouldn't have normally used.. there are lots of things I need to improve on but using Zoe's fantastic Colouring Faces tutorial Ebook it's going to be much easier.
Well that's all for the Mo, I have lots more things coming up.

Thank you for stopping by

Mic then and now image....

Hi everybody.... the weekend is upon us again... I hope you have lots of crafty time scheduled... I have some many digi images printed off and just not enough time to get them all done....

Over on our Facebook group Sandra Van Blaricum  show cased her very first Mic image  of how she first started colouring and how she has improved over time....
... so this inspired me to find my firdt Mic image and share how I colour now...

This is Pirate Alvida in 2011

This was coloured with promarkers -  I probably thought this was amazing at the time.....lol.

... and here is Alvida coloured now with the Lonley Island and Treasure Chest

I have used ball point pens for most of the colouring, Alvida's skin is prisma pencils and the sky is Koh - i- noor pastels....
What do you think... I'm quite pleased with it...
Well I must get on with some arty stuff...
Thank you for stopping by

MiC -May Colouring Challenge - Portraits

Hi there everyone... wow this next challenge has soon come around...It absolutley scared the pants off me to start with, untill Zoe came up with this amazing tutorial book she has done...

This challenge is portraits and we would like you to do a  facial close - up and add detail and features , such as texture , tone and highlights.

I have used the gorgeous Lili Faye fairy

This is the first time I have done anything like this and I will be trying again as I can see some area's to improve on, but it's good to have a challenge...

I have used Prisma Pencils for the colouring. I think  they could do with  a good sharpen though and  then I could get few more crisp lines and more finer detail, but that's all in the challenge of learning something new...

I copied the freckles on my oldest daughters face, she sat there for ages bless her... I had to try and get them uniformally random, if you know what I mean....lol.

This was such a fab challenge Zoe set us and I can't wait to try it out on some other images.
Visit the Make it Colourful blog and take a peek at what the awesome DT Gals have done.

Well I have another portrait to post shortly and loads of other Mic Gal stuff too.
Thank you so much for sdtopping by and taking a peek.

Big Hugs
