Make it Colourful - adding texture

Hi guys... 
wow  we had some fabulous entries in our last challenge.
 This months challenge   over at Make it Colourful is...


There are so many possibilities  with this challenge. I used the oh  so gorgeous

So what did I do.... I used ball point pens for  most of this image, I added a knitted texture to the jumper and gave him a pair of denim jeans,  I had to make the bear furry with a thread bare nose and tummy, I gave the bow some shine  and added a soft feathery feel to his  wings, it's amazing how  changing direction of your stokes and the pressure you apply with  your media can make a difference to your art work.

What no promarkers!!!!!


Hey there everyone, how you all doing..... crikey can't believe it's the weekend already....
I have been so busy alately with DT work that I haven't bee able to do any challenges...so Thought I better put that right...
Here is a cute LOTV James the Bear
Which I will enter into these challenges

Lotv - sketch challenge
CRAFT- Pencils only
fussy and fancy - christmas colours




Wow not used anything but promarkers alately so this was a challenge to use my koh i noor pastel pencils, I did make a complete mess with the dust.
The papers are from Dove Craft and the flowers are from Hobby Craft., the fluffy stuff is polar white flower soft.

I just wanted to give you all a reminder of a new kids Challenge called Messy's Mini Missions
The challenge will start on the 1st October but we have some candy on offer first to get you started.

Sugar Bowl challenge

Hi everyone just a quick post...
here is my entry to the fabulous sugar bowl challenge this week they have a sketch for you to follow and would like you to use the colours blue and green..

This is the bear i received in my luckybag amongst loads of other lovely sweet rubber....



the papers are all K&Co addison and the brads are from craftwork......
