Just a snowman....

Hi guys just a quick post , not been able to blog the last few days , I have had a migraine since saturday and yesterday it finally put me in bed and I didn't get up untill about 5.30pm ... not too bad today i can see......! and I'm not vomitting....Eeeuughh!!!!

Anyway... here is a card I made a few days ago which fits in to these challenges

christmas wishes box....Tim Holtz style...

Hi there everyone ....another post from me today.....

Here is a little treasure book box I have altered in the style of the one and only Mr Tim Holtz.....or Lord Tim Holtz as I believe is now his official title.......

This is for the following challenges.

Simon Says Stamp and Show - Tim Holtz style

The Shaby Tea Rooms - a little bit of metal (box corner, jingle bell on tag+ wishes text)

Here is my christmas wishes treasure box , I have made this so my children can put there christmas wishes in so Santa can fetch them something nice.....

This was a paper substrate blank book box

I bought from Hobby craft.

I added lots of disress inks ,perfect pearls crackle glaze

I then made a tag and added some more distress inks ans perfect pearls...

and a nice vintage stamped Santa image...

Ohhh and some stickles..

Other additions include some gems ,a  big glittered chipboard scrolly thingy, and some fibre and jingly bell on the tag...

The text on the box reads...'.He's making his list and checking it twice'  ( not as easy to read with all the crackle glaze....

Hopefully this isTim Holtz styleeeeee enough to enter the challenge.

We can actuallty see the main road now  I thought I was gonna need a canoe to get out...lol!

Just Sentimental Tilda....

Hi Ladies... well what can I say about the weather...mmmm I have done loads of washing and got them all out blowing gently in the wind the sun brightly beating down.....sat down to write this post  and the sky is charcoal grey and it'a absolutley @5!*@* it down....!!!!!I have to go out shortly to take  my little boy for a hospital appointment......eughhh! we gonna get wet!

Hi inky peeps...... a little something different from me today, as some of you know I have been trying to get back into my 'altered side'.... and with the new challenges over at Simon says stamp and show....I now didn't have an excuse not to play....!

This week over at the challenge site is to create something along the lines of the fabulously talented Weny Vecchi. Now I am not terribly familiar with all her work but I am a aware of the style....so I set to.... and went somewhere completely different....

I think I started off right with the grunge paper and flowers and various inks and crackle paints even chucked in some stickles.... but I know it's completley wrong.... but I thought I would share it anway...lol.

I will enter it into the challenge but if it dosen't qualify ...that's ok...'cause I do actually like it and I can use it!

so here it is.....be gentle with any comments....he he he.

Looks fab on my denim jacket....

I would also like to enter this in to the fab and funky  challenge this week is flower power.
