Is this my new obsession....

Hiya everyone.......Omw could this be another obsession for me !
Here is a little mini album I have been playing about with over the weekend, I have made it using style stones... remember them from a few years ago they were really popular.....not even sure if you can buy them anymore.

the front....

the back...

middle with a few tiny little photo from the index prints ... you know before the digital age!
I used some elastic thread and some seed beads to fix them together....

The album is a little over an inch square so it's perfect for keyrings.... I have also seen them on chunky bracelets....

I can't wait to do some more, my table was a complete mess with inks and embossing powders and beads ...'cause as with everything I do I didn't know what I was doing or how it would turn out.......he he he.

I would like to put it into these challenges
Craft your days away - favourite things ( my new technique... Oh and the kids)
Simon Says Stamp and Show - things with wings (dragonfly stamp and butterfly papers)
Just Scraps - anything goes
The Artistic Stamper - something old /something new(really old style stones+photos.....and new techinique.... for me )

This is very beautiful. You inspired me to try something similar with those dusty style stones I have hanging about!!

Love the idea, I actually have some chunky flat square wooden beads lying around that would make a perfect cover for these. Thanks for the inspiration! Anika x
