Here is a card I made for one of my daughters for Christmas .... it's called Reindeer games and it's a digi available from Funkykits

I have used promarkers and flexmarkers for colouring  and the papers were a magazine freebie.

Hi there everyone ... hope you all had a fab Christmas and are looking forward to a Crafty New Year...

I know I haven't posted again for a while, hoping all that is going to change next year...

Here is one of the few cards I made for this Christmas.... I was inspired by the fabulous Zoe from make it crafty...She did a fabulous colouring tutorial on facebook to follow along with....

I am quite pleased with it but it was nowhere near as good as Zoe's   I need to work a bit more on the light 

reflections and 'glow'. Here's the finished image on a card.

L a La....Trike boy

Hi guys... Just popping in with a birthday card I have made for my Nephew's birthday...

I love this image from La La Land....it's great for all little boys.

my image has been coloured with promarkers... just kept the layout simple, no frou frou or bling  for the boys....lol.

I am going to enter this in the I love promarkers Challenge this week they have an anything goes theme.

Steampunk Santa...

Hi guys... is everyone in full swing for christmas...well I'm not but I am looking forward to it, the kids are all super excited all ready, I think there going to peak to early and explode....lol.

I managed to fingd a little time over the weekend to colour in this fab Steam punk Santa from Make it Crafty

Zoe has just some of the best images to colour and her tutorials from her self and her team are amazing.

My Santa has been coloured with promarkers, and the papers are a freebie from the Making Cards magazine.... I think these Santa's make great images for the men... what do you think...?

A card at last...

I really am  a bad blogger at the moment... I really need to myself sorted and make something, I have so many gorgeous images printed and stamped out ready.. ( probably a couple of hundred)....Sshhh!!

... anyway here is something I have managed to do for my daughters friend's birthday.

I love Simply Betty Images...

Left this one simple with the colour being quite strong...

...let see if I can manage  to get some christmas cards done..

Carnival Canvas

Hi there everyone from a rather soggy UK...wow did it rain!!!!! Hmmmm ... I'm a bit fed up now of this weather, still it makes a good excuse to stay in and play with crafty stuff..♥

Here's my latest work using the newly digified Carnival from Saturated Canary available from Funky kits...

 not sure where I was going with it once I got all my stuff out...and I did find out that not all media's mix!

 Had ago at the edges too...

The canvas is a Loxley deep edge 10x8''

The image was put on to some 12x12 paper and cut to size and punched with a Martha Stewart border punch..other items used were acrylic paint, aqua markers, oil pastels, charcoal pencils ,white paint pen, letraset fine liner, rub ons some texture stamps...

Mixed Media Messings.....

Hi there crafty peeps....... I know it's been a long time posting again...

This time I have been playing around with some Canvas I have .... I got out all of my mixed media stash... and hey presto.... here's what happened.

I do have a bit of a 'thing' for owls, and I have searched the net for inspiration and I do have a few favourite artists...Christy Tomlinson being my fave.....

...any hoo I'm waffling. 

Here's my Owl canvas..

 So what did I use... acrylic paint, design paper, rub on's, die cuts, aqua markers, white paint pen, fine liner, ink, stamps and some doodly bits.

Well let me know what you think folks good or bad. It's not bad for my first attempt, but I think I can do better.

fuzzy wuzzy....

Hi guys.... just a quick post to share my Cuddly Buddly card....tried to make this look 'fuzzy' be didn't quite turn out as I thought it was going to(well it's not what was in my head)....lol.

I used my Koh-i-noor pencils for a change....I have so much stuff that is way under used....

I love these  papers, they are fron Blue Jean Teddy I think they may be over ten year old..... tut tut!

 well you guys that's it for the moment ... will be checking back in later..

it's all boy stuff......

... hi guys.... according to my little boy I don't do enough 'boy stuff' ..... so he are a few things I have been up to, this is also my first attempt at doing a full background, I ummed and aahhhed for ages trying to decide how to go about it.... soooo I just went for it and used a promarker fine liner straight on to the image  which I had already coloured....probably should have done the background first!!!!!

here are a couple of Skylanders I also coloured for my little boy, I will probably make these into bookmarks for him.....

a little bit of vintage....

... Hi everyone, had a little play this afternoon with an image that was partly coloured  a while ago.... ( sorry the picture is a bit pants)... it looks like my camera needs a bit of a clean and a good charge!

I used another onf Krista's images from Saturated Canary....I find them so easy to use.

the papers are some really old ones from K and Co and I love them.... wish they still made some of there old designs...

Omg.... I'm actually posting....

....wow how long is it since I made a post.......I have not abandoned my little bloggy (though it feels like it) I have had some time out from crafting and I needed to get other things done... but know I think I'm ready to return...my fingers are itching and my brain is buzzing with all the fab new stuff out there....

here are a couple of cards I have just done to try and get back into things....

 this robot is from Tiddly Inks....I tried to make him look a bit rusty....

a bit of Owl-ology.........

Hi everyone.... been having a play again, this time with some chippie's and diecuts, I've always thought I could put an owl together with various bits and pieces..... what do you think is it obvious or not ( I have had to explain once).....

I have used chippies from Make it crafty - cogs wings, and dragonfly.............the clock is a Tim Holtz diecut and the feet are cut from Magnolia tag dies, the pocket watch stamp was a freebie from the craft stamper magazine.... I wanted to try and achieve a metal finish on the chippies a sort of brassy look with with the verdigris patina....

 

this is the page right in the front of my journal.....

 I chose this quote as I have been wanting to start a journal for a while but didn't know how to go about it or how to do it...... my advive is just go for it you can do it wrong it's what's in your imagination....

I would like to put this in the anything goes challenge -  time/steampunk

...on the dark side

Hi guys... I'm back again I've been having a play around with some more idea's.......this was inspired by the recent challenge over on Make it Crafty, to colour an image and then turn it to the dark side.... but as usual I was running a bit behind and missed the challenge....

I'm not sure this is what Zoe (Make it crafty) had in mind with the challenge... mine's a bit more odd and mad!...lol.

again I used a variety of mediums....acrylic paint, water colours, chalk penils, carcoal, and some lumiere paint .....oooh and some promarkers....

 

I still don't think I did everything I wanted to do on this piece of work.....
