Grace - Tiddly Inks

Hey everyone, just popping in to share one of the gorgeous new images from Tiddly Inks called Grace, there are three different poses altogether, this is the only one I have managed to colour so far..

It dosen't seem to have scanned too well the shading looks better in real life... I have used Prisma pencils for the colouring.

 I can't wait to have a go at the others....

I will be back again soon I have so many gorgeous images to colour on my desk... :)

Make it Crafty - Thankfull

Hi everyone today Make it Crafty have a very special image to share with you, this is to commemorate ANZAC  day ,it is the 100th anniversary of WWI  and Austrailia and New Zealand  will be remember all those men and women who lost their lives.

I have so many beautiful friends I have met through craft and today my thoughts will be with them .

Sweet Pea - Cybele ans Kaida

Hi there everyone.... just sharing my latest colouring with you all, this one took me over 8 hours to complete, but I am loving the challenge of all these new artist's images I have been using.

This Is Cybele and Kaida from Norma J Burnell at Sweet Peas Stamps

I have used Prisma pencils for the skin, Pastels for the background and my ball point pens for the rest of the image, I'm really loving my pens at the moment.

Spiderwort....

This is the super gorgeous Spiderwort from Stamps by Aurora Wings....

I have used Prisma pencils for the skin and Koh - i- noor pastels for the background, The rest of the image is coloured with ball point pens.

Aurora Wings - Daisy Elf

Hi everyone ....I am back again with another super gorgeous image from Aurora Wings.... this time with the super cute Daisy Elf for there facebook challenge.

I have coloured her with Ball point pens, the skin is with Prisma pencils and the background is Koh- i- nor  pastel pencils..

This was amazing to colour , the hardest part was picking my colour choice.

Lucy Loo- - The East Wind

Hi crafty peeps...

I just wanted to share my Lucy Loo colouring from The East Wind, they have a facebook challenge at the monent and they would like you to colour on Kraft paper...

This wasn't my usual kraft card, this one was a little too shiny which make it difficult to layer the colour, so it's not as bright as I would like it to be...

The image is coloured with -  Ball point pens

Minions....

Hiiii

everyone just a quick post to share this which I have just coloured for my daughter for one of her friends...

The image came from a free colouring book site I found..

This one was really quick and fun to do...

 

One of the hardest  colours for me to use is yellow,it's  so difficult trying to get some tone in there...

again I have used ball point pens, which didn't help the 'yellow' challenge...lol.

Aurora Wings - Poppy Sprite

Hi there crafty peeps.... It's almost the weekend, hope I can fit some more colouring in.... really enjoying my ball point pens at the moment....
Here is my very first Aurora Wings image I have colored over the last couple of days... ball point pens are quite time consuming but worth it... I 'm slowly getting there with them.

This is Poppy Sprite.

The skin has been coloured with Prisma pencils, I have done skin with my ball point pens  before  but I haven't quite got it right yet... the back ground has been coloured with my Koh-i- nor pastel pencils.

Steampunk Doll - Meredith Dillman

Hey  everyone.... It's still the school holidays for me  so it's difficult trying to fit in any colouring time, but I have managed to do this image called Steampunk Doll from Meredith Dillman, the image is available from Sweet Pea Stamps.

I have colored the doll with Prisma pencils and used pastels for the background.  I had intened to try and make the wing transparent...mmm bit more practise on that I think.

Marvel - ous

Hi everyone just dropping by to share by latest Ball point pen colouring...This was for my daughter friends birthday, she loves her Marvel  and they spent the day at Comicon....how awesome is that.

The image I used were merged together from the Octopode Factory...

I think I need to do some more of these really  soon , but I have so much stuff printed off ( probably close to 1000...lol)  and some from some artist new to me ... I don't know where to start... :o)

Make it Colourful......Hair!

Hi everyone we have a new challenge over at Make It Colourful for you this month the challenge is Hair...
 

I have used Wishful Asha  and Dandelions Digi

 I have  coloured using ball point pens  and chalk/pastels for the background...

For this oneI have used Jena Bluebird

I have printed  the image on to cereal box card I have used Prisma pencils for colouring and some pastel/chalks for the background...

This is a great challenge to have a go at and the girls have done some amazing work  Here

Zoe has some amazing tutorial in her store just here they would be great for a few hints and tips for this challenge..

Ppinkydoll cereal box art....

Hi , how are you all doing...are you getting in some Easter crafting or are you all on school holidays...? I am trying to do both, but mostley the kids win,,,lol.

Here is another Ppinkydoll image I have coloured but this time I printed on to cereal box card for a change and I coloured with Prisma Pencils and used some pastrl s for the background...

I love this idea and I will be doing some more work like this..

This is almost A4 in size and I just loved  doing this for a change, these images are fantastic to work with , her green dress was so much fun to do...

Ching- Chou Kuik....Snowdrops

Hi everyone... I am back again  with another challenge card this was one for the Ching-Chou Kuik facebook challenge...the theme was spring...

I used the gorgeous Snowdrop image from the Etsy site...

I have used Prisma Pencils for colouring for a change, as I wanted a softer look for this image...It did take me a while I think I forgot how to colour with pencils...

I just love using these images they are fantastic to work with.

Make it Crafty....

Hi crafty peeps..... today I would like to share my latest DT colouring for Make It Crafty...

This was one of my just because colourings...lol.... you know one of those things you just need to colour even though you have about a thousand more things printed off which you should be doing... ;)

I have used the super gorgeous Pipi Faye with the Whimsical flower background

I have been working with they ball point pens again trying to see if I can get some different techniques to work like I do with other mediums... this was my attempt at wild and crazy coloured hair and also trying to make the wings look transparent...which was a bit of a challenge and the pens are quite a solid colour...but I think with some practise I will get there....
