Simply Betty and Little Miss Muffet day 3

Hi again everyone, hope you are having fun with the joint release with
Simply Betty and Little Miss Muffet Stamps
Well, today is our final day of our Tea Party.  We have 2 special games going on today.  We have a "Guess Who" and a "Scavenger Hunt".

These images can be purchased at SBS and/or LMMS

"Scavenger Hunt"
Please go to LMMS blog for the list of "goodies" you are to be looking for.
Be sure to go to ALL the DT members for SBS & LMMS.
 Next stop is Rachel blog
I have some more projects to hare with again today....
For this one I have used the  Simply Betty Doormouse inside one of the LMMS  teacups..  For this one I did some decoupage and layered it up.
My next piece is using Betty Queen of Hearts and the gorgeous roses from LMMS .  I painted and then stamped onto a canvas board ,  merged the images and coloured using promarkers and flex markers.
This one is using Simply Betty March Hare and LMMS teapot and one of the cupcakes from the LMMS Tea Party combo packs. I found the stop watch image on the internet and 'fussy cut' outr the images to place inside.... again I have used promarkers to colour.

Simply Betty and Little Miss Muffet day 2

Hey there everyone and welcome back to day two of the joint release between
I hope you managed to hop around yesterday and see everyones fabulous projects and how well the two companies images work so together... all the girls did a fabulous job.

Here are some more of the projects which I have made...

This card is entirely images from Little Miss Muffet.... sometimes I think less is sometimes more and when I looked at these images straight away I knew I wanted to slightley vintage with them... I used one of the Hatters and the balloons from one of Barbara's tea party combo packs.
For this card I used the Doormouse from Simply Betty  and merged in the table and teapot  items from the LMMS combo pack. I knew I had to get some kind of clock in one of my projects so I use this one as a frame and filled in some grass and flowers for the background using promarkers.
For this piece I used  a 10x10'' canvas. I used Simply Betty Alice Betty and used the chair and the teapot from LMMS  again I used promarkers to colour in the optical illusion background.

Well thank you so much for stopping by again.... I'm off for another hop round at the girls projects from today.
Be back with some more inspiration tomorrow

Altered art canvas.....

Hi there everyone, I have something different from myself today... I have been wanting to do an altered /mixed media canvas for ages but was too scared to start...
So I have taken the plunge and here is what I did...

I raided every drawer and cupboard in the house, went through the tool box all my crafty stash and made a pile of stuff and then just started arranging things for a few days before I actually stuck anything down
I placed the photo's on first and then added lots of texture to the background with different pieces of lace and crochet trim...
The next job was to place and glue down all the items I wanted on there and then gave it all (except the photos) and good coat of gesso to give it a white cavas before painting.

.. and lastly I painted and spayed with loads of different tones of colour and then highlighted certain parts with some gold rub to bring out the texture...
I would like to enter this in to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge which this time is Anything Goes and into the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge which is recycle.,

Simply Betty fan page challenge

Hi there everyone there are just a couple of days left to get your entry in for the Simply Betty fan page challenge... the image this month is Medusa and to use the colours black /cream and one other of your choice..
Each month there is a different image to request for free as long as you use it for the challenge and follow the guidlines for each challenge... if you don't use it you won't be able to enter next time round.

as always I have used promarkers and flex markers to colour..
That's all for the moment folks..
Happy crafting.

Simply Betty and Little Miss Muffet.... Mad Tea Party

Hi there everyone and welcome to a joint release with
We have some absolutley awesome images to share with you...both teams have been busy colouring and creating loads of scenes and projects to share with you....
Our theme is a Mad Tea Party.... both teams will  be releaseing a few projects each over the next few days, I really hope you enjoy the images and  get some inspiration from our projects.

You should have joined me from the fantastic Irene's blog ...if not there's a list at the bottom to start from the beginning....

this is my first project I used Simply Betty Mad Hatter  Betty and Little Miss Muffet three tier tray and four of the different cakes and chocolates

The Hat template is one  I found on the internet, my images have been coloured with promarkers and the hat was coloured with distress inks  with a bit of distressing on the edges and some stickles....

My second project is using Simply Betty Cheshire Cat and Little Miss Muffet tea party food

My image again has been coloured with promarkers and mounted onto an embossed Tea pot  card I merged the bun images together to make a stack  and the Cheshire cat image and printed them off as one.
Here is a list of everyone participating in the hop....

The next blog on the list is the amazing Aeryn

I really hope you enjoy the hop, please try to visit everyone and share some love.
