Hi there everyone, I have something different from myself today... I have been wanting to do an altered /mixed media canvas for ages but was too scared to start...
So I have taken the plunge and here is what I did...
I raided every drawer and cupboard in the house, went through the tool box all my crafty stash and made a pile of stuff and then just started arranging things for a few days before I actually stuck anything down
I placed the photo's on first and then added lots of texture to the background with different pieces of lace and crochet trim...
The next job was to place and glue down all the items I wanted on there and then gave it all (except the photos) and good coat of gesso to give it a white cavas before painting.
.. and lastly I painted and spayed with loads of different tones of colour and then highlighted certain parts with some gold rub to bring out the texture...
I would like to enter this in to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge which this time is Anything Goes and into the C.R.A.F.T. Challenge which is recycle.,
Thank you for stopping by
Hugs
