Simply Sassy......guest DT call.....

O Kay..... I have finally decided that I will enter the Simply Sassy dt call for a guest designer..... I have made so many different Sassy cards I didn't know which to enter and what ever I did choose I would probably never be satisfied with.....lol.
Que sera sera..... what will be will be, if I get chosen or not I love working with these images  and cannot wait untill the next release (sneaky peeks tomorrow)....
Here is my Hippy Chick.....
One thing I have noticed while using the Simply Sassy's is that it has made me use a different colour pallette to what I am used to, I don't usally use bright colours ( I struggle to blend them sometimes)... but I'm loving the bright new look.

This is a technique I have seen some of you ladies using and I've been dying to have a go.... So I dusted off my Koh-i-noor chalky pencil things and had a go... it's only the second time I have used them (slap hands).

I quite like the end result but I didn't intend the pink to take over...lol.

Well thats it I have commited myself, I will go and link it up...
